Rezidence Lundborg is located only a few steps from the Charles Bridge in the Lesser Quarter side, one of the most picturesque of Prague. This area is full of small narrow streets, lovely houses, gardens and cafe bars.
DESCRIPTION:
When renovating and furnishing the hotel, our motto has been high quality and genuine craft. Every suite and room have a character of its own. However, Jacuzzi, kitchen and online computers are the basics. For example, painted wooden ceilings in many of the rooms, have been refurbished to restore the glow and colors they once had to make them look as genuine as possible.
Peek out through your window, and with a glance you'll bring in the spirit of the city. You also have a view over the historical buildings by the northern end of the Charles Bridge. You're surrounded with plenty of restaurants, pubs, and exciting shops. All tourist attractions and other sights are within walking distance.
Rezidence Lundborg is a small hotel and it means personal attention to every guest. We strive for comfort and complete satisfaction. We want anyone, even the fastidious business man or woman, to be pleased and feel right at home.

The warm-up for the daytime or night-time activities takes place in the bar and cafe "The Blue Lion". You can also make a reservation in our wine cellar, where you can try some of our interesting vintage wines. Why not together with some cheese or swedish specialities.
Little from the history:
The building that is now Hotel Rezidence Lundborg used to be called "U modreho Iva" which means "At the Blue Lion's" in English.
The very first note taking about the building is from 1336. A few decenniums later King Karl IV ordered the production of a new bridge to replace Bridge Judith, which was destroyed during severe weather and was flooded 1342. The remains of Bridge Judith are now kept at the entrance, dining room, and wine cellar of the Hotel.
During the last hours of the 30 yearlong war the Swedes were stopped at the Charles Bridge 1648 in Prague.
The building was probably renovated or additions were made around 1770. The beautiful paintings on the ceilings of many rooms probably were derived from this renovation.
1999 the building was overtaken by Walter Lundborg Byggnads AB, and that's when an extensive renovation was being done. The building was then being remodeled into a first class hotel.
On the 13th of August 2002 the hotel was covered by 2 meters of water during the "100 Year Flood" which affected Prague. Rezidence Lundborg was re-opened on the 1st of November 2002 with a newly renovated bar and lobby. Welcome to see how well we done!
